Question
Hi I recently found a hurt southern alligator lizard the other day, it has two working legs and the other two are stumps he also dosn't have a tail. What care should I give him, i'm going to get him a terrarium tomorrow. This whould be my first reptile, what should I do for caring for him?

Answer
Danielle, is this a recent injury or one that has healed? If it is already healed then you will need UVB lighting, Reptile Heat source, a hide box, orchid bark, a food and water dish as well as calcium powder. If the wounds described are not healed then your best option would be to visit a veterinarian
