Hi Damian, Your dragon needs to have a normal photo-period, that is a day and night cycle so turn both lights off at night. The usual recommendation is 12 hours on and 12 hours off. It is natural and normal for him to have a temperature drop at night, that is exactly what would happen in the wild. He will slow down metabolically and appear quite sluggish in the morning which is normal. His body needs that rest period. You only need to think about providing a heat source at night (like a ceramic heater with no light) if the night time temp. in the room drops below 65F.
