Corkscrew Hazel tree Hi, are corkscrew hazel trees safe for me to use in my bearded dragons vivarium? If so what will I need to do to them in preparation... e.g. strip bark/oven etc? Thanks in advance

Hello Adam,

The corkscrew tree is perfectly fine. IF you get it from outside, there is no need to strip the bark, but it would be a good idea to wash it with hot water. Bake it in the oven at 250 or so, for around 30 minutes or so. That should be sufficient enough to kill anything that might be on or inside of the tree.
