lepoard gecko biting/hissing

we just bought a leopard gecko today, and when we got him home, he started hissing at us when we held him. The one we held in the pet store seemed to be more docile than this one. They were all approx. 3 months old. Is this normal behavior or should I exchange him for another one? My son does not want to even hold him anymore. I don't either. Help!

Hello, Baby leoaprd geckos hiss and can snap once they are 5 inches(they shouldnt be held and touched until this age they are too fragile) they calm down a bit once there fully grown leoaprd geckos are great pets and can be held offen without any problems.
