Question
Her left leg
Her left leg
QUESTION: Tracie Kretzchmar,

It's Gabriella, the one who is having trouble with her gecko. I couldn't send you a follow up question so i had to start all over.
However, today she is looking a little better. She has gotten out of her hut and is walking around a little more. I am still on trying to find out the sex of both my Leos and hopefully I can do that soon. I think the same thing about nothing else being wrong with her leg but I'm still terribly concerned. I'm going to have her checked on Saturday at the place where I bought her. Then, at that time I can figure out the sex of both. When I bought her they said that I did not have to feed her everyday but i fed her yesterday and she was normal about that.
I have some pictures for you, hopefully you see what I'm worried about.

Gabriella

ANSWER: Hello Gabriella,

That is perfectly fine!
How is she doing today?
That is pretty swollen.
It really could be an injury from what it looks like.  Are you sure that the other one has not bitten her?
How is her appetite doing?
I cannot tell by the picture if it is retained shed or not on her.  Is she limping around?

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

maybe this is clear.
maybe this is clear.
QUESTION: Today she is perfectly fine. She's coming out of her hut which is great.
I know that is pretty swollen.
I haven't seen them bit each other and i verified that the leos were both girl because I got both from a female tank.
Her appetite is pretty good. I feed them meal-worms and about 4 each.
She has been limping around and she is not walking on it she just lets it drag around. Here is another picture of her.

Answer
Hello Gabriella,

That is great she is doing pretty good today.
How is her leg looking today, any improvements at all?
Ok, two females "should" technically be fine as long as they have their own space & do not have to compete for food basically.
She must have gotten injured some how.  It could be retained shed possibly.  Maybe you could try giving her a bath to see if you could tell if it is retained shed.
Is her appetite doing pretty well?
I apologize for the delay, I had some internet problems, but they are fixed now.
