Question
Is there any way 2 find the upright position of blue-tailed skink eggs once disturbed?

Answer
The often-repeated myth is that turning reptile eggs will kill the embryo, because it adheres to the inside of the membrane, and the air pocket above it provides oxygen.  The story goes, if you turn the egg, the embryo will suffocate.

It all sounds very logical.  Problem is, it was originally a theory, and people used to avoid turning the eggs as a precaution.  Somewhere along the way, the information that it was only a theory got lost, and it's been repeated as a hard fact ever since.

Actual testing shows that turning reptile eggs doesn't do anything at all--so, don't worry about it, they'll be fine. :)
