Need help deciding......

I need help on a good beginner lizard. I would like one that likes to be handled, easy to maintain, desert environment, and inexpensive. Can you help me?

Hello Kevin,

A good beginner lizard, well, a collard lizard or a bearded dragon.  A collard would probably be easier though as they do not require as high of basking temperatures & are not as large, either.
Thus, they don't require as much food.  They are mostly carnivorous, too.
