Question
i am going to get two baby corn snake, i have never had a snake in my  life and have many questions. do they sleep in the day? how big can they grow to?

i am going to get two females because i do not want to breed, can they live together? shall i separate them when they are feedig? my vivarium is 48" (huge i know but i want to have it ready for when they meet full length)i haven't got a bedding yet, what do you suggest to use for a corn snake? i have two heat lamps, 2 heat mats, lighting and a night light, anything that i need?

Answer
Miles,

Corns are active during the day.

They CAN grow up to 6 ft, 3-5 is more common.

All corns can live together, but remove them from the main cage to feed them.  NEVER feed them together AND watch them when you put them back together to make sure one is not still hungry and mistakes the other for a mouse as it might still smell like one.

Viv is good just make sure there are no holes, if they can get their head through they are gone!

I perfer shredding aspen bedding or plain paper.  DO NOT USE pine, cypress, or walnut.

Hide box and water dish big enough that they can get in and soak.

Don't worry about the sex too much, breeding won't happen for at least 18 months and by then you'll be ready and you'll want them to.
