Question
I am an owner of one male leopard gecko. I have had him for almost a week
and he is a juvenile. I have never seen him drink his water before. I know he
can climb up to it but i have never seen him take a drink since i got him. Is it
also necessary to mist the cage? Also, will he ever come out in the daytime
and be active, or will he just stay in his huts? Sorry i have a lot of questions
but it seems that my gecko can't catch his crickets unless i rip half of the
crickets legs off. Please help! Thank You P.S. He is about 6 inches long.

Answer
Yes he is fine.  Misting the cage is needed but only under the hide area.  Leopard Geckos are nocturnal so they will generally not come out during the day.  If he's not able to catch to the crickets I would look first at the heat as this is most likely the cause of the issue.  Go to my site and download the free mini eBook on Leopard Geckos and this should help you tremendously.
