Question
I have a pair of rainbow lizards in a 170 gallon aquarium.  Are they compatible with any other lizards or should they stay by themselves?  Thank you.

Hi Nick,
That's a big tank for your lizards!  No lizards are really compatible with other species. There can be diseases that don't affect one species but can be deadly to another species. Then you have the aggression issue as many species will look at others as a threat to their environment and you end up with severely injured lizards. Throw into all of that, the care issues and needs.  Temperatures, humidity, diet, lighting, nocturnal, diurnal, etc..

I do want to mention that they do need to have special uvb lighting. Don't use the spiral screw in bulbs as they don't provide the uvb needed.
