Question
my bearded dragen has not eaten in about 5 days the pet store said that it might take about another week or so is that correct or should I be worryed his stools are like water

Answer
Hi Chris, I'm assuming that you have just acquired your bearded then? It is true that many reptiles will refuse food for up to a week or more when they have been relocated to a new environment. The watery stools are a bit of a concern however. The stress of such a change can also temporarily compromise the immune system which can lead to a flare-up in the number of intestinal parasites such as coccidia and pinworms. Both of these are extremely common in beardeds. It is always a good idea to have an initial faecal test done on a new bearded to determine the status of these common parasites. Even a vet that does not specialize in reptiles would be able to identify these from a faecal sample and phone-consult for the appropriate treatment.
With luck the watery stools may just be a stress reaction as well and they will firm up in a few days. If you are noticing any lethargy as well and the lack of appetite continues beyond the 8 - 10 day mark I think a vet assessment is your best option.

This is an excellent and comprehensive site for BD care, good luck with him.
