False alarm?

Hello, my guinea pig was supposed to be pregnant, she showed all the signs (drinking more water, firmer abdomen,slower movement, getting rounder etc) and at about 7 weeks, all her signs froze. She seemedto completely stop. When we took her to the vet, they said that that can definately feel something. What's going on?

What did your vet say? She could be having complications in the pregnancy, which is extremely common in guinea pigs. Did the vet take any x-rays or anything. I would contact a vet that knows a lot about guinea pigs if the vet you took yours too isn't experienced with guinea pigs.
