trim nails for my dwarf hammy

Our dwarf hamster needs his nails trimmed. My thought is to use infant nail clippers I purchased. Any thoughts on that? If so, what is the best way to gently restrain him so he isn't injured or stressed, etc.? Thank you.

     Yes infant nail clippers are the best to use. It is best to have someone hold him, talk to him and gently stroke him, while the other person trims the nails.
