Question
What would be the best thing for me to do with my hamster Sam, who died on February 24th, 2008?

Answer
I would suggest burring him in a box, which is what I have done with all my hamsters. It's really the only healthy, economical thing to do. You can't flush a hamster, you could cremate or taxidermy it but those will all cost more then the hamster did in the first place. Depending on where you choose to bury him, you can place a grave marker, like a stone with his name written on it so you can always visit him.
