i have a male an female an now i have a litter of pups they are all in the same cage an i want to know if i should take the male out an put him in a cage by his self?

Hi Daisy,

Yes, you should place the male in another cage by himself.  Dwarf male hamsters will help take care of the babies, but they will immediately mate with the female, producing even more babies.  So, unless you have the means for another litter, you should go ahead and remove the male as soon as possible to prevent mating.  (Be careful not to touch the babies when you're removing the male - babies can't be touched until they are 14 days old.)
