Question
But I meant the baby's mother is not feeding her I think like that's why one baby gerbil died like mummy (it looked like a mummy because it didn't breath and hands were all straight up). Instead of baby mother feeding them with her milk can I give them milk like in the fridge? or does it have to be their mother's milk? she's pregnant again and I really don't want the baby gerbils to die I was really sad when the babies died T.T and how the their mom give them the milk? I checked her tummy and their was no milk or anything I really like to know please !!!!!.

Answer
Hi Andy,

She will have milk if she has babies or even one left, but you won't be able to tell really. You can't feed milk from the fridge, it is too rich for a baby gerbil. It needs to be kitten replacement milk, but it is near impossible to feed a very very young gerbil without choking it!! The only real way for a baby to survive is for the mother to feed it.

Hope this helps again,
Thanks,
Charlie.
