my hamster has crusty eyes

well i have a baby hamster he was born a couple days after christmas and he has always had crusty eyes and one doesnt open so should we clean it out with hot water of take him to a vet?

take him to the vet, sounds like he has an eye infection or a respiratory infection like a cold. Wiping the eyes won't help get rid of the problem, but wiping them could help you know if your hamster is blind because sometimes crust can form over an eye because a hamster is blind,  especially since you have never seen that eye open.
