Leaving my hamster

Hi Kelly,
I'm going away for 2 days and I'm concerned about leaving my hamster.  She'll be by herself for one night, I'm leaving Saturday morning and coming home Sunday afternoon.........will she be ok, or should I have someone check in on her?  She's approximately 2 1/2 months old.

Hi Debby,

I would advise that you get someone to check in on her.  Tell him/her to make sure the water bottle is full and working and that there is plenty of food.  

Also, in case she escapes, you should close the door to the room she's in.  That way, she'll be much easier to find.
