Our Siberian dwarf hamster 'Baby' was found past away this morning.No warning,she seemed fine running on her wheel the night be4 and everything.She was lying in her resting place. We never gave her ppl food b/c we was told not to along time ago. She was our only pet.(always a loner in the petstore). We used cardboard in her cage because we were told its safest. She always got the vita mix so I thought her diet was healthy. She was a good eater but it seemed as though she may have lost some weight over the last week. We got her Spring of 06 from Petland. Was it her time? Or did we do something? Plz help me understand.

Hi Jas,

    I don't believe you did anything wrong. With her not showing any signs of being sick and she was still very active and eating well, my feeling is that she probably had a heart attack, it was just her time.
