hamster and mouse together?

Can a dwarf hamster share a cage with a mouse? If so do you recommend any
specific acomodations? Thank you!    Ellie

Hi Ellie,

Nope, a dwarf hamster cannot share a cage with a mouse.  In fact, they shouldn't have contact at all.  They're of 2 different species, so they won't get along at all; they'll just fight.  (A Dwarf hamster will fight with other hamsters as well.)
