roborovski hamster

Question
My roborovski hamster's fur is getting very matted and I know that I cannot bathe her in water.  May I use a Chinchilla Bath Sand?  Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your question.

The chinchilla bath sand should be fine for your robo. I use this for my hamsters and they seem to enjoy it - put some in a small dish and let him roll around in it.  It sometimes takes a while for them to get the hang of it, but they seem to enjoy it once they know what they are supposed to do - plus it makes their fur nice and clean.
