Question
Hey, you wrote to Jess a short time ago telling her her hamsters hips had set and she was to old to breed, when would Lucy's hips set/ be too old to breed?
Youre sooo helpful! I just am starting this breeding do u have any idea of a store chain that would take the baby hamsters?

Answer
Hi Olivia,

A female hamsters hips will start to set around 6 months of age. If the female has had a litter before, then breeding her after 6 months of age is fine, but if she hasn't, then the risk of having problems with delivering goes up.
