do hampsters get scared of loud music or is ti bad for them?

 Hamsters probably would get scared of loud music, more likely it would make them jump to start with, which would not be good for their heart.
 And as in most animals and humans they may well go deaf too, keep in mind that your hamster is much smaller than you, and so his ears are much more sensitive, so it might well damage his eardrums more than yours.
  start your music off quietly, or even better put it in a different room and shut the door to the room in which your hamster is in.
