my hamsters happiness

ok well i got my hamster yesterday and i didn't know you weren't supposed to take them out of their new home for up to 45 hours and i did a few times and now he seems like he is sad  but at first i thought that it was because i took it away from his friend in his old cage but after reading more about them i think its because i didn't give him allot of time to get used to the place what do you think i should do?

Hamsters don't have very large mental capacities. A few days, and he should be fine. However, the best way to keep him happy is to keep him busy. They seem to enjoy it if you put their food in a papertowel roll and plug it up with papertowels or alfalfa hay. Also, give him acorns and other hard nuts that will take him a while to knaw through. They also have lots of hamster toys and treats in petstores.
Are you sure he isn't sick? Is he eating and pooping?
