DEAD GERBIL :(:(:(:(:( PLEASE HELP :(

yesterday my gerbil was starting in his bed, and wheni picked him up he barely moved, he moved  only his head, the next morning he was dead, will the other family members miss him?

I am very sorry to hear of your loss, and hope you are ok?!

How many others did you have with this one? They are likely to realise he has gone, but if there is at least 2 left they will be fine. What can happen is if there is one left by itself when one has died they can become quite lonely and withdrawn!

Don't forget though, in the wild they would experience the loss of a gerbil every now and then, so it is something natural and that they can live with!! So don't worry too much!!
