Question
my hamster just gave birth to it's babies 2 days ago. it's actually her 1st time. she gave birth to 4 cute babies but yesterday, when i went to change her water,i realised that only 3 babies left. i saw her ate her own baby and i dont know what to do to the rest. is this normal and how do i save the other babies? should i put them at different cages and if so,how do i feed the babies and how to take care of them and its mother. really appreciate your answers.

Answer
Its quite normal for a female hamster to canibalise one of her babies somtimes they6 do it when they have more babies then they can support or if they feel threatened. In my opinion the best thing to do is just leave her alone with her babies make sure its quiet and calm where she is.

Of course make sure she has plenty of water available to her right now

It may not be up top raising babies right now as it may be to young or just not very motherly in which case you can try to raise them yourself but it involves lots of work if you have any more questions on that ask
