My Hamsters Leg

Dear Katie,
   Mt female hamster, Frank, has been waddling when she walks. She lifts her back right leg really high when she walks. Could this be something bad? Is there anything I can do?

   It sounds like she has a gimp leg. We had a hamster with this too. Just make things easy for her to get too. Like make sure the water bottle is low enough so she doesn't have to stand on her back legs to get to it. Make sure there is nothing she can climb on that she could get hurt on in the cage either.
