hamsters and chinchillas

hi my little hammy is getting lonely. and so is my chinchilla. would they make good playmates for eachother or will they fight???

I would strongly advise that you don't put your hamster and chinchilla together.  It is easy to think that caged animals are lonely, but in reality, they are often happier alone. Also, I would never risk putting these two animals together as it may well end in disaster.

Is your hamster Syrian?  If so, these are solitary creatures and will fight if put near other animals.  I don't know much about chinchillas and whether or not you could introduce it to another chinchilla.
