campbells dwarf making clicking noise

Ive had my hamster for almost a week now and today he started making a rapid clicking noise. Its not very loud, you only really hear it if you put him close to your face. It seems like he started to make the noise when we let him meet and play with your chinese dwarf hamster (they didnt fight). Is this normal or is he sick?? Also is it ok to let different hamsters like them play together? By the way the campbells making the noise is a male and the chinese dwarf is a female. Thanks!!

i am almost positive the noise is just the hamsters heart beating. I know the sound, and it can be a scary one, but don't worry. Also, as long as they don't fight, and you don't house them together, letting them come in contact is okay.
