Panda bear hamsters are Syrian and they tend to be the larger of the Syrians variety. They are definitely not dwarf hamsters!  If you have a bear hamster, you need to make sure the wheel in the cage is large enough for them as the standard wheel that comes in cages is often too small.  Also, being Syrian, these hamsters must live alone - you cannot put more than one in a cage.
