QuestionI am doing a science fair project on dwarf hamsters. My science fiar question is will hamsters deprived of food go faster through a maze than hamsters that are fed?I have eight hamsters and I am not feeding half for 4-6 hours and then put them in a maze that has food through out it. My question for you is do you know how hamsters act when not fed? And how long do they live?
Thank you so much!!
AnswerThey'll probably just try to seek out the food and stuff their faces. I don't know if it'll be that different from the ones who've had access to food as they'll probably do the same thing because hamsters are pigs and will store as much food as possible even if they have plenty. Dwarf hamsters live about 2 years but 3-4 is fairly common.
