squeeling/flying hamster

Question
Last night, I noticed that my hamster had stopped running on her wheel...the strange thing was that she was laying beside the wheel, eyes half way closed.  I tapped on the side of her cage, trying to get her to move, and when she didn't  I reached into the cage, to pick her up and examine her, and just as my hand went into the cage, she flew across the cage, backwards, and she was screaming.  I took my hand out, and she did the same, flying the other way across the cage.....again, she was flying backwards.  When I say flying, it wasnt like she was jumping, feet first, she was flying at least two inches above the bedding, and her back was crashing into the side of the cage.  When she landed, she shook her head, and sat there for a moment.  She did this a couple more times, and then she went back onto her wheel.  This morning, I was able to reach right in and pick her up, and she was back to her normal self......do you think that there is something wrong with her that I dont know?  Help.....she scared me with all the screaming and flying

apoligies for taking so long to answer the question, i went away and the site wouldn't let me change my status to away.
  It sounds like it was just a shock thing, she was scared of something that it made her move like that. if she continues to do this, you might wanna get her checked out at the vet in case is a fit or something like that.
 theres not much more i can tell you, i hope she gets better!
