help me!!

I have looked everywhere for my hamster.  He is a dwarf teddy bear hamster.  I have had him for about 3 years now.  He escaped out of the top of his cage, some how he popped it off.  Do you think he could have gone upstairs?  I have 2 flights.  I have tried almost everything from traps to tin foil.  I've stayed up late but I still didn't hear anything.  I know that he is still alive because my daughter has a dollhouse and she keeps finding little objects that have been chewed on.  Please help me find him!!!!!!

The first thing I would look at is if there are any cabinets that could have holes/openings in them. If there are any that's where he could be. Also I'd look in dark places such as under couches/beds. No I do not believe such a small hamster could have gone upstairs but if you have carpet stairs, it is possible. I would search everywhere possible. If he doesn't come back in at least 5 days, he most likely is dead of starvation. I sure hope you find him. GOOD LUCK!
