QuestionHi,i have nine 28 day old pups.It look like there still drinkin the moms milk,so im not sure when i should take thte babies out.And how am i supposed to tell the difference between the males and females.Also am i able the keep the males alll together and the females in a different one,or do i need to put them all in there own seperate cages?thanks

By 28 days, Syrian hamsters are weaned and should be sexed and placed into cages segregated by gender. (Boys in one cage, girls in another.)
You can keep all the males together in one tank and all the girls together in another tank until they are about six weeks old. Then every hamster should have it's own cage, as Syrian hamsters are solitary and will fight.
