gold hamster

i have two gold hamsters we got them in the same cage. after getting them we put them in different cages that night and the next morning we put them together and they started to fight should i keep them apart or should i put them together and let them get along??

Syrian hamsters like the ones you mentioned are actually NOT supposed to live together at all. The only reason they are like that at the pet store is because they are fairly young and all of the same family. As they age they become very territorial and will fight each other for control of the single cage. You will need to keep them separate from now on.
