My hamsters gave birth 2 days ago and i am a first-time owner. I wanted to know if I had to cage the cage's haye? I know that we should leave them alone for 10 day but don't they die if we don't change the haye.

Hi Elizabeth,

do not move or change anything in the cage for the first three weeks or the mother might destroy them if she feels threatened.

Dont worry, they wont die, the mother will look after them if she is left in peace to do so.
