my 2 hamsters keep fighting

hi, i believe my hamsters are Syrian and they keep fighting. It looks rough, it normally ends with one of them or sometimes both of them wounded, from cuts to bumps to bite marks. what should i do? one of my hamsters currently has a piece of his ear sort of bitten off :|

Hi Vin,

Please separate them now!!!!  Syrians are solitary creatures and more than one should never be kept in the same cage!!  They shouldnt even be allowed to come into contact with one another!


Obviously no one told you that syrians are solitary, but why havent you separated them sooner?!  As soon as hamsters draw blood they should be separated anyway!!

Please keep them in separate cages from now on and dont ever keep Syrians together again!!
