my hamster has a bald patch

help my hamster has a bald patch on his bum and its getting bigger is there any way stop it please help

Its hard to say what this patch is caused from. If your hamster is elderly, this is common. Like many humans hamsters start to have hair loss as they get older. The hair could have also been pulled out while running in a wheel. If the hair does not show signs of re-grow within a few weeks take him to the vet.
