Does My hamster have a broken back?

well i have onli just got a hamster off a friend and yesterday it flipped out of my hands and since then it has been hiding in one place and twitching. Im not sure if it was twitchng because of the shock. I have been giving it attention all day and night and watching it all nite and this morning but please could you tell me what i do because i darent tell my friend. thanks.

Well hello :-). Is your hamster eating and drinking just fine. Watch him for a few more days. If he is still twitching funny take him into a vet. Generally hamsters do fine after being dropped. just watch him closely. If you hold him and he starts to whine or you start to suspect he's in pain take him to the vet.
