Question
My hampster's eyes are bleeding for no reason. I come home and her eyes where red and wet looking so I like wipped them and there was blood on my thumb from it. What is wrong with my hampster?!

Answer
Hi Korrie,

I'm sorry but i have no idea what this is, most eye infections only cause some stickyness and cataracts only makes the eyes cloudy and leak some goo. The only thing that i can think of is that she's been scratching them, perhaps she has gotten something in them. The only thing you can do from here is try and keep them clean by wiping away the dried blood with a q-tip and luke warm water, do not go into her eyes with q-tip though. Then you MUST see a vet.

I'm sorry I couldn't have been much help, I've never heard of this before and I searched the internet looking for an answer but i found nothing :(

Very best of luck, please let me know what happens, then I may be able to answer this question should I be asked it again in future. However, thank you for asking.
