Question
my dwarf hamster got bit by another dwarf around his nose. it did not bleed a lot and i tried contacting my vet but there was no answer. what can i do to help him he is not spazzing out or anything but i am worried

Answer
Hi Shelby,

If possible, try to clean the wound with a tiny amount of hydrogen peroxide (if this is a younger person, have a parent help) at least once a day, for a few days. If signs of infection appear, swelling, redness, pus or drainage, or the wound gets worse, then he should be seen by a vet.
