I SCARED!

QUESTION: When I wasnt in the room and my younger sister was, she noticed something red coming out of my male hamster's bottom. I'm nervous and I dont know why and what it even was. Please tell me A.S.A.P.. I'm really worried and i want him to be ok. Thanks SOOO much! Jenna O yeah I didnt see it so try not to ask me what exactly it looked like. Thanks Again!

    I would suggest looking over his cage (on the bedding and especially where he usually urinates) to see if there is anymore of this red stuff. If there are, let me know. Also let me know if he is or has been drinking a lot of water.

QUESTION: o yes he has been drinking it seems like alot of water. by the way i asked my sister again and she said it looks more like bloody poop (sorry about that). I dont think i saw any blood or red stuff ethier. Thanks for replying!! Jenna

    It sounds like he may have had a slight urinary tract infection. If you have not seen anymore red spots around his cage, the infection is probably gone.
    Sound the red spots appear again for more than 2 days, then he should be seen by a vet.
