Horrible pain

Question
Our family hamster,Staurt,is in great pain. After from a vacation trip his eyes were closing and seemed like sticky eyes. SOon one eye got blind and he is breathing hard and so weak he can't eat or drink. We gave him antibiots through a dropper but all of it came out. His jaw won't move and his ear bleeds and he may be def. We know he will die but the question is what is hapened to him?

Hi Bill,

I'm very sorry :(  It sounds like Stuart had a stroke, which is common among older hamsters.  (Though, it can also occur in younger hamsters.)  Try to keep him as comfortable as possible in the meantime.  Give him extra bedding for warmth, and make sure his food and water are near.
