ill hamster

Question
our hamster eyes are close and she loses her balance and she puts food in her mouth but i don't know if she eats it. i think she drinks water. her left side is the side that she leans to what can we do?

Hi Rita,

It sounds like your hamster is quite sick.  She may have had a stroke.  Take her to the vet as soon as possible.  And, keep her comfortable; make sure she has plenty of bedding so she won't be chilled, and make sure her food and water are within easy reach.  If she doesn't drink water, try putting the bottle directly up to her mouth.  Again, you should see a vet as soon as you can.
