question on boric acid powder.

hi again... i was able to get the powder today at walmart and was mixing the water with the powder but i wasnt sure if i was going to expect any unusual behavior from my hamster. i mean will he screach or move a lot, or bite or anything like that?

Hi Regina,

It depends on your hamster's disposition.  If he's mild-mannered, you shouldn't have any trouble with him biting or struggling too much.  If he's more active and energetic, though, you should get someone to hold him while you bathe the eye with the boric acid/water mixture.
