How much should a vet visit for a hamster cost? DO you take for ckups or only when sick?

Hi Alma, this really depends on the vet, each vet charges different prices, it would be best to give them a call to ask what is their basic consultation fee for small animals. hamsters dont generally need check ups as they dont have any vaccinations and if you handle your hamster daily you will be able to monitor it for signs of ill health yourself and take it to the vets when appropriate. hope this helps, Jen
