hamsters in heat

ok, first off to try and find out when your hammy will be be in heat again, do you count down from the day she was in heat or the day after: Second when trying to figure out if your hamster is heat are there any ways of knowing without rubbing her back, because my hamster doesn't respond to the whole back rubbing thing!

Hi Misa,

it is only approximately 4 days and is different for each individual hamster, so it may not work counting the days.

You will have to try her with the male.

Some females will have a slight discharge at the time of heat, so their urine may look cloudy around the time.
