HAMSTER EATING HABIT

Hi Katie,

I have a hamster shes about 4 months old maybe a little bit older, she beonged to my cousin but gave her to me, i have had her about a month now, i have noticed when cleaning out her cage they her food doesnt really go down....

her cage has a tube coming from the inside to the outside and back in, i put new food in another bowl and within seconds she fills her pouches and puts it in the tube, and leaves it there, but doesnt eat it?

can you tell me why she isnt eating?

What your hamster is doing is perfectly normal. Hamsters usually store their food away for a later time. Most likely your hamster is eating her food later on, maybe when your not around. Unless your hamster starts losing weight, I would say she is fine.
