QuestionAre female hamsters in a maze faster than a male hamsters? Are there any differences between them in their body or their brains?
AnswerDear Bethany,
thank you for your question.
To my knowledge, there's no difference between male and female hamsters when it comes to finding their way through a maze. Their behaviour is the same, although there are of course differences between individual hamsters. This is just my experience, though, and nothing scientific.
The only difference between male and female when it comes to their body (apart from the sexual organs of course) is that the scent gland under their belly is more pronounced with males.
I hope I was of some help to you
