My hamster seems to be very sick

My hamster's left eye keeps twitching even after 2 days of sleep.We tried to clean her but nothing seems to work. Can anyone please help me? Thanks!

Hi Jonathan, it could be that she has something in her eye that needs to work its way out, sometimes the dust from the bedding can irritate it, try changing the material that you use to something less dusty, keep bathing it if you can and speak to your vet if it doesn't improve, it could be an infection although you dont say if there is any discharge or redness. if youre really worried take her to your vet for a check up and get a professional opinion to be on the safe side, hope this helps, let me know how you get on, Jen
